By the end of year 2002, there were more than 2 million childbearing age women totally took examinations of “Caring Women’s Health- general examinations of breast disease and health promotion”, there were more than 3 million people accepted health promotions, and achieved great social benefits. Most of 300 breast cancer sufferer took proper medical treatment, but there were still few impoverished patients from poor families lost their life because they could not afford expensive medical expenses, they missed proper medical treatment, and illness getting worse and worse till die. For the sake of treatment in time for patients from family planning families in particular poor conditions, the foundation launched the action of “Aiding Breast Cancer Sufferer”. The Foundation will provide 3,000-10,000 RMB to the patients with breast cancer who could not afford operation expenses cause of impoverished conditions. Actions aim to improve childbearing age women’s awareness of self-healthy protection; to appreciate life; to mobilize all circles of society; to cherish others; to concern vulnerable groups in poverty-stricken conditions.
